Description:
VW GOLF MK 3 1.8
"EURO STYLING, INSPIRED"
The auction is for my mk 3 golf, but with uni and lack of funds i am forced to sell the car. All the work has been carried out over the two years since i've had it, and in that time I've covered around 8000 miles, as the car was off the road to have the bodywork carried out upon it. my aim was to get the car up to a level in which to enter it into shows, and so it has some of the classic and a few unusual mods done. the car is mechanically sound and runs strong so here's the spec...
# The car started life with me as a base car to build on, i had to find one with a good history and solid structure, this is exactly what the car has. it features:
* full vw history, up to me owning it (i serviced her twice since- once every 4000miles)
* its covered 117 000 miles and is running very strong
* electric sunroof
* sport seats (like recaro)
* professionally fitted alarm with imoboliser
* spare tyre, vw jack and spanner etc.
* pioneer d1500r cd player
# since i have had the car, it has received:
* a full tensioner and timing belt replacement
* a new battery
* new pirelli p6000 tyres, (one has a slow puncture) wheels have locking wheel nuts
* new wiper blades
# as stated previously i have mainly concentrated on the bodywork, as my plan was to get it up to show standard and enter it in competitions:
* smoothed recesses in front and rear bumpers (smoothed out indicators in front also)
* smoothed side trim
* deleted rear wiper, and badges
* de-badged grill with blended bonnet extension
* mk4 headlights incorporating indicators
* clear side repeaters
* m3 rear lights
* colour coded mirrors
* German number plates (have originals)
* some of the interior parts have been sprayed a perlesant black (nice shine in sun)
* and shes been lowered on fk coilovers
This All amounts to Hours and Hours of Bodywork and Lots of Money
i must be adamant that is NOT a boy racers car
As you can see from the photo the car was knocked, whilst parked, when i was visiting my friend, it scraped the side slightly. However its not that bad but would do with a touch up, i have also lost one of the center caps on the passenger side and some of the filler attaching the bonnet extension has cracked a small amount (can be taken off easily or redone without much trouble)
Any questions please do not hesitate to ask, i hope she brings someone else as much fun as shes given me
